Get creative with your colors and knit up a fun hat. Looks complicated? Nope. The slipped stitch pattern is made using only one color of yarn at a time! I used bits of hand-dyed handspun that was a gift from a friend for my hat - you can use up leftover yarns or select your own color set.

Materials Required:
Sport or DK weight yarn, approx 150 yards of one color for the "mortar" between the bricks and another 150 yards of assorted colors.
US size 5 (3.75mm) 16" circular and double point needles

Gauge: 6.5 sts/inch in slipped stitch pattern

Repeats of a single traditional Fair Isle pattern decorate this picot edged hat.  The two-color stranded color stockinette provides additional warmth as well as decoration.  Pattern written with both chart as well as line-by-line instructions - you knit from the format that you prefer.
